International Entities Dealing with Trade and Dumping


Various entities worldwide promote fair trade and act against dumping.

World Trade Organization (WTO) Anti-Dumping

The WTO Agreement, also known as the Anti-Dumping Agreement, focuses on how governments can react to dumping activities. The Agreement does not deal with regulation, but presents disciplines against such activity.

US International Trade Administration (ITA)

The ITA is in charge of safeguarding and enhancing the competitive strength of US industries against unfair trade.

US International Trade Commission (ITC)

The ITC is an independent, quasijudicial federal agency, with broad investigative responsibilities on matters of trade.

European Union – Anti-Dumping Agreement

The European Commission is responsible for investigating claims of dumping by manufacturers’ export in non-EU countries.
